The Tata Nexon iCNG is available in 8 trims with advanced twin-cylinder technology
Tata Motors has launched a new Tata Nexon iCNG model in the market, expanding its Nexon car series to meet the demands of Indian customers. Priced between Rs. 9 lakhs and Rs. 14.50 lakhs (all prices, ex-showroom), this car offers more power than other SUVs in its segment. Along with petrol, diesel, and electric versions, this new CNG model provides customers with a wider range of choices.
Tata Nexon is joining the ranks of Tiago, Tigor, Punch, and Altroz by introducing a CNG variant. Tata Motors mentions that CNG vehicles make up about 21% of their total sales, prompting the addition of this option to the Nexon. While CNG is cost-effective while driving, the Nexon CNG model is designed to provide a strong and efficient performance.

Tata Nexon iCNG: Variants and Price
The Tata Nexon iCNG comes in eight different models for your convenience. These include Smart (O), Smart +, Smart +S, Pure, Pure S, Creative, Creative +, and Fearless + PS. The price of CNG models is approximately one lakh rupees more than that of regular petrol models.

The initial Nexon Smart Persona starts at Rs. 9 lakhs, followed by the Smart+ at Rs. 9.69 lakhs and the Smart+S at Rs. 10 lakhs. The Tata Nexon iCNG Pure Persona is priced at Rs. 10.69 lakhs and the Pure S at Rs. 11 lakhs. Moving up, the Creative Persona is at Rs. 11.69 lakhs, and the Creative+ is at Rs. 12.19 lakhs. The top-tier Fearless+PS is priced at Rs. 14.50 lakhs.

Tata Nexon iCNG: Features
The upcoming Tata Nexon iCNG will offer you a choice between petrol and diesel engines. The high-end versions will include advanced features like automatic headlights, climate control, voice-assisted panoramic sunroof, digital dashboard, touchscreen entertainment system, 10.25-inch digital driver display, wireless charging, ventilated front seats, top-notch audio, and leather upholstery. These additions will enhance your travel experience by providing extra comfort and enjoyment.
Tata Motors has added a pair of 60-litre CNG tanks, This gives you great mileage and saves a bunch of trunk space. While the boot space is a bit smaller at 61 liters than petrol or diesel cars, the 321 liters it offers is still quite roomy for your needs.

To ensure a safer drive, the car is packed with top-notch features. These include six airbags, rain-sensing wipers, automatic headlights, a 360-degree camera, ABS and EBD systems, an Electronic Stability Program (ESP), tire pressure monitoring, ISOFIX child seat mounts, front parking sensors, and self-dimming rearview mirrors. Having these features gives you peace of mind while on the road.

Tata Nexon iCNG: Powertrain, Mileage
The Nexon iCNG runs on a 1.2-liter turbo petrol engine. This engine delivers 98.6 bhp power and produces 170 Nm torque. The car comes with a 6-speed manual gearbox only. An automatic gearbox option is not available yet. According to the company, this car offers 24 kilometers per kilogram of CNG.
