The Tata Nexon iCNG is available in 8 trims with advanced twin-cylinder technology
Tata Motors has finally released the long-awaited Nexon iCNG in India. The sub-four-meter SUV comes in eight different trims, with prices ranging from Rs 8.99 lakh to Rs 14.59 lakh (ex-showroom). The iCNG model is around Rs 1 lakh pricier than its petrol counterparts.
The Nexon iCNG operates using a 1.2-liter turbo petrol engine that gives you 98.6 horsepower and generates 170 Nm of torque. It’s equipped with a 6-speed manual gearbox, and there’s currently no automatic option. What’s intriguing is that although the CNG model has less power than the petrol counterpart, both share the same torque output. The company claims this car can give you 24 kilometers per kilogram of CNG.
Moreover, the Nexon iCNG comes with twin-cylinder technology, making the boot still quite functional, even though it is reduced by 61 liters compared to the petrol and diesel models. Now, let’s examine the specific features offered on each type of Nexon iCNG in more detail.

Tata Nexon iCNG: Smart (O)
The basic model of the Tata Nexon iCNG, called Smart (O), costs Rs 8.99 lakh (ex-showroom) and has various safety and convenience features. It has a 2 2-spoke steering White with an Illuminated Logo, Front Power Windows, six airbags, LED Headlights, Taillamps, and DRLs. Also, it comes with an electronic stability program, hill hold control, and ISOFIX child seat anchors. Furthermore, it provides reverse parking sensors to make your driving experience safer and more convenient.
Tata Nexon iCNG: Smart+
For Rs 9.69 lakh (ex-showroom), you can get the Nexon iCNG Smart+ model, which is an enhanced version of the Smart (O) variant. It comes with a 7-inch Touchscreen Infotainment system by Harman featuring four speakers, plus it is compatible with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Additionally, it includes power windows for all seats, electrically adjustable ORVMs, and controls mounted on the steering wheel.
Tata Nexon iCNG: Smart+ S
The Tata Nexon iCNG Smart+ S variant costs Rs 9.99 lakh (ex-showroom). In addition to the Smart+ S features, this version includes automatic headlamps, a Voice Assisted Electric Sunroof, and automatic Rain Sensing Wipers.

Tata Nexon iCNG: Pure
The Tata Nexon iCNG Pure variant, available at Rs 10.69 lakh (ex-showroom), comes with extra features compared to the Smart+ model. It includes Bi Function LED Headlights, Roof Rails, wheel covers, rear AC vents, Voice Commands for Phone and Media, touch-based AC controls, a rear power outlet, and a 4-inch Digital instrument cluster. These additions boost the style and comfort for you and your fellow passengers.
Tata Nexon iCNG: Pure S
The Tata Nexon iCNG Pure S variant costs Rs 10.99 lakh (ex-showroom) and comes with upgrades compared to the Pure variant. It includes a voice-assisted sunroof, an anti-glare rearview mirror, automatic headlamps, and automatic Rain Sensing Wipers to make your driving experience more convenient and enjoyable.
Tata Nexon iCNG: Creative
The Tata Nexon iCNG Creative model costs Rs 11.69 lakh (ex-showroom). This version enhances the Pure variant with some cool features. It includes sequential LED DRLs and taillamps, Push Button Start and Stop, Height Adjustable Driver Seat, 16-inch alloy wheels, 4 Speakers and 2 Tweeters, a 7-inch Digital Instrument Cluster, Fully automatic climate control, a Top-mounted Rear Wiper and Washer, a keyless entry, a reverse camera, a cooled glovebox, and a tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS).

The Tata Nexon iCNG Creative+ model, available for Rs 12.19 lakh (excluding taxes), takes the Creative variant up a notch by adding some top-notch features. The Tata Nexon iCNG Fearless+ PS top model costs Rs 14.59 lakh (ex-showroom). It includes Sequential LED DRLs that welcome you, and front fog lamps that turn with you around corners.
