TVS Apache RTR 160 4V Introduces Bold Updates and Three Vibrant Colors

The TVS Motor Company recently released a new version of the TVS Apache RTR 160 4V bike. It comes with a price tag of Rs 1.40 lakh (ex-showroom) and boasts of fresh front suspension and updated color options. Compared to the telescopic dual-channel ABS model, this version costs Rs 3,000 more. While the engine specs, design, and features remain unchanged, the revamped Apache RTR 160 4V now offers enhanced technology and better performance, promising an overall improved experience for you.

TVS Apache RTR 160 4V: Design, Features

One significant change to note is that TVS has swapped out the old telescopic suspension on the RTR 160 4V for a new, 37 mm golden upside-down fork. The bike still has a mono-shock at the back and disc brakes on both wheels with dual-channel ABS. Also, there are new color options available, such as Granite Grey, Matte Black, and Pearl White, which go well with the addition of the golden fork.

The latest features include a high-tech digital dashboard that links up with SmartXonnect in your vehicle. This nifty system comes with voice control and cool functions such as giving you directions, warning you about crashes, and alerting you about calls and texts. In addition, TVS has introduced a Glide Through Technology (GTT) feature in the Apache RTR 160 4V bike. This new tech promises you a smooth ride in bumper-to-bumper traffic and brings added comfort with adjustable brake and clutch levers.

TVS Apache RTR 160 4V Powertrain 

The TVS Apache RTR 160 4V bike remains equipped with a 159.7cc single-cylinder engine that uses both air and oil cooling. This engine can produce a power of 17.55bhp at 8,000 rpm and a peak torque of 14.8 Nm at 6,500 rpm. It comes with a 5-speed gearbox. Additionally, the bike offers three different riding modes: Sport, Urban, and Rain. Notably, the top variant featuring the USD fork is one of just two variants that include dual-channel ABS for added safety.
