TVS iQube Crosses 8 Lakh Sales Milestone in India

TVS iQube electric scooter hits 8 lakh cumulative sales, cementing its status as India’s top-selling EV scooter with accelerating demand.

TVS Motor Company’s flagship electric scooter, the TVS iQube, has achieved a significant landmark in India’s rapidly growing electric two-wheeler market by crossing 8 lakh cumulative wholesales. This milestone highlights the iQube’s strong and sustained demand and further strengthens its position as the country’s highest-selling electric scooter.

The 8 lakh sales mark was reached by the end of December 2025, with TVS dispatching 35,177 units in that month alone — marking the fourth consecutive month where monthly wholesales have surpassed 30,000 units. This consistent momentum underscores the growing acceptance of electric scooters among Indian riders and reflects the success of TVS’s strategy in the EV segment.

TVS introduced the iQube in January 2020, and the sales journey has shown remarkable acceleration over the years. Although it took over three years to reach the first 1 lakh units, volumes quickly ramped up thereafter. The scooter hit the 3 lakh milestone in April 2024, and since then, sales have surged sharply. The leap from 7 lakh to 8 lakh units alone was completed in just three months between October and December 2025.

This milestone also plays a crucial role in TVS’s overall scooter business. In the financial year 2025, TVS recorded 18.13 lakh total scooter wholesales, with the iQube contributing a substantial share of that volume. The strong performance has helped TVS enhance its market share in India’s highly competitive scooter segment.

Looking ahead, TVS appears poised to maintain this growth trajectory. With nearly 8 lakh units already wholesaled and strong performance in FY2026, industry observers expect the iQube to edge closer to the 1 million sales mark in the near future. Continued variant updates and expanding charging infrastructure are likely to further strengthen its leadership in India’s electric scooter market.
