TVS Raider 125 Now Cheaper by Rs 10,000 with Launch of Drum Brake Version
TVS Motor Company recently introduced a more affordable version of the TVS Raider 125 bike. This new variant comes with drum brakes on both wheels to reduce costs but keeps all other features the same. With a price tag of Rs 84,869 (ex-showroom), this updated Raider variant is now almost Rs 10,000 cheaper than its previous version. This could be a great option for you if you’re looking for a budget-friendly bike without compromising on quality.

TVS Raider 125 Drum Brake: Features and Engine Specs
The new model comes with a 130mm drum brake, which includes a combined braking system, replacing the 240mm disc found in other versions. Along with the drum brake, this model has the same features as the Single-Seat variant, such as the LED headlight, and LCD instrument cluster.
This bike comes with different ride modes- Eco and Power. Similar to the top-tier versions, the Raider includes a TFT screen featuring TVS’ ‘SmartXonnect’ tech. Interestingly, it also comes in the same color choices of striking Red and Wicked Black.

Mechanically, This bike rocks a 124.8 cc single-cylinder engine that gives you 11.2 bhp at 7,500 rpm and 11.2 Nm of torque at 6,000 rpm. Plus, it’s got a 5-speed gearbox to keep you cruising smoothly. Similarly, the Raider 125 keeps things simple with a telescopic fork in the front and a rear mono shock.
