2024 Hyundai Creta Crosses 1 Lakh Sales in Just 6 Months

In just half a year after its release in January, the Hyundai Creta facelift has surpassed 100,000 sales. The company has been consistently selling more than 15,000 Creta every month, hitting a high of 16,458 units in March. In the most recent month, they moved 16,293 Creta, averaging over 550 units daily, as stated by Hyundai.

In India, Hyundai has already sold more than 1.1 million Creta. Back in February, they celebrated hitting the 1 million sales mark for this SUV. Interestingly, the last three milestones of 100,000 sales each happened within approximately eight months, indicating that the recent updates to the Creta have really boosted its sales.

Mr. Tarun Garg, the COO of Hyundai Motor India Limited, expressed his excitement about the impressive sales milestone of the new Hyundai Creta 2024. He mentioned that the SUV had reached a milestone of one lakh sales, proving its popularity in the market. He added that they believe the Hyundai Creta will keep raising the bar in the Indian automobile sector and bring joy to its customers.

In India, the Hyundai Creta SUV falls in the price range of Rs 11 lakh to Rs 20 lakh (ex-showroom). It faces competition from the Kia Seltos, Mahindra Scorpio, Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, and Tata Harrier. On the other hand, the Kia Seltos, which is the Creta’s sibling, manages to sell around 6,500 units every month.

2024 Hyundai Creta Facelift Interior and Exterior

The latest Creta model offers a range of exciting features. it includes some cool features like 18-inch alloy wheels, dual 10.25-inch screens, Level 2 ADAS for safety, six airbags, telematics, updated connected car technology, multi-colored ambient lighting, a built-in voice assistant, ESC, traction control, different driving modes, USB Type-C ports, a big panoramic sunroof, an upgraded Bose sound system, an air purifier, a 360-degree camera, power-adjustable front seats, a wireless charging pad, and ventilated seats, and more.

When it comes to the exterior, It includes advanced quad-beam LED headlights and a stylish black chrome parametric radiator grille. You’ll also find signature Horizon LED positioning lights with DRLs, a sleek aerodynamic spoiler, a redesigned tailgate, and modern connected LED taillamps. This SUV comes in six solid color choices and has one dual-tone option. You can choose from Fiery Red, Ranger Khaki, Robust Emerald Pearl, Titan Grey, Abyss Black, Atlas White, and Atlas White with Black Roof (dual-tone).

The Creta gets its power from three types of engines. There’s a turbo-petrol one that gives you 160PS and 253Nm, a natural petrol one with 115PS and 143.8Nm, and a diesel one producing 116PS and 250Nm. You can choose between different transmission options like a six-speed manual, a six-speed automatic, a CVT automatic, and a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic.
