The Mercedes-Maybach EQS 680 SUV has become Mercedes’s top electric SUV choice in India.
Mercedes-Benz India recently introduced the Maybach EQS 680 electric SUV for Rs 2.25 crore (ex-showroom). This luxurious electric SUV is now the second priciest one in India, just behind the Lotus Eletre. The EQS 680 is a high-end electric SUV that was first revealed globally in April last year.
Mercedes-Maybach EQS 680: Exterior, Interior
The Mercedes-Maybach EQS 680 comes with a special two-tone paint design. The upper section comes in either black or blue, and the lower part is available in Selenite Gray, Silver, Kalahari Gold, or Velvet Brown. At the front, you’ll see the iconic 3-pointed star Mercedes logo on the hood, Maybach lettering, and vertical slats on the grille. Additionally, there are air inlets decorated with the signature Maybach patterns.
In the side view, the smooth door handles, the choice of 21-inch wheels, and the Maybach symbol on the D-pillars are the main attractions. Moving to the back, you’ll notice the LED lights with a unique 3D helix design. Also, you can’t miss the chrome roof spoiler and rear apron that are special to Maybach models.

You have the choice of two cabin colors: brown or white. Both cabins are covered in Nappa leather with Double M logos. You’ll find the Maybach logo on the stylish steering wheel, foot pedals, driver’s display, and the impressive 56-inch “hyper screen” infotainment system. Additionally, the rear seat entertainment package includes two 11.6-inch displays on the front seatbacks.
Imagine the comfort you’ll experience with the Active Multicontour seat package, providing ten massage choices for the front seats. Your backseat guests will love the calf massagers. Plus, the MBUX Interior Assistant lets you access these features hands-free through gestures. Additionally, there’s a handy refrigerator section hidden behind the armrest of the rear seats. It can hold up to 10 liters and allows you to select the temperature.

Maybach EQS 680: Powertrain, Range
This Maybach EQS 680 comes with a 122 kWh battery which powers two electric motors that deliver a combined power of 658hp and 950Nm of torque. Power is distributed to all four wheels through the 4Matic AWD technology. It can accelerate from 0-100kph in a quick 4.4 seconds and reach a top speed of 210kph. The EQS 680 comes with a remarkable WLTP-certified range of up to 611km on a single charge. Mercedes has also equipped it with fast charging capabilities of up to 200 kW. This means you can add about 300 kilometers of range in just 20 minutes of Charge.
