The Mahindra Thar Roxx Auction: First VIN 0001 Chassis, Bidding Starts on September 15, 2024
Mahindra and Mahindra just revealed some exciting news! They’re putting the first Thar ROXX up for auction. This special Thar ROXX will have the VIN 0001 chassis number. The auction kicks off on September 15, 2024, and wraps up on September 16, 2024. The funds raised from the auction will go to a charity picked by the winner. Plus, Mahindra will match the winning bid with their own donation.
Mahindra First Choice Wheels (MFCW) is hosting an online auction. They’re putting up The AX7L Diesel Automatic 4×4 version of the Thar Roxx for bidding. The lucky highest bidder will even get to pick the color of their choice. The vehicle going up for auction will come with a unique badge signed by Anand Mahindra, the Chairman of the Mahindra Group.

The first Mahindra Thar Roxx unit, with VIN 0001, is a high-end model of the 5-door Thar. This car runs on a 2.2-liter diesel engine that produces 172 horsepower and 370 Nm of torque. It comes with four-wheel drive and is paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission. It comes with dual 10.25-inch screens for infotainment and the driver’s display, automatic AC, front seats with ventilation, a 6-way powered driver’s seat, and a panoramic sunroof.
Safety features include 6 airbags, a 360-degree camera, ABS with EBD, an electronic parking brake with auto-hold, and a full suite of level 2 advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) to keep you safe on the road.
Thar Roxx comes in different price ranges starting from Rs 12.99 lakh to Rs 20.49 lakh (ex-showroom). You can choose from seven colors: Stealth Black, Burnt Sienna, Deep Forest, Battleship Grey, Nebula Blue, Tango Red, and Everest White.
