2025 Maruti Suzuki Dzire Unveiled: Set to Launch on November 11

The latest Maruti Suzuki Dzire now comes with the powerful Z Series petrol engine found in the Swift.

Maruti Suzuki recently Unveiled the latest Dzire subcompact sedan in India. The pricing details are slated for release on November 11. You can already reserve your own starting from November 4 with a booking fee of Rs 11,000. This fourth-generation Dzire is specifically designed for the Indian market, boasting a new engine, enhanced exterior and interior features, and advanced technology surpassing its predecessor.

Upfront, the new Maruti Suzuki Dzire has a flat hood with slight creases at the edges. The headlamps are rectangular with crystal-like details and black surrounds, Maruti dubs them “crystal vision headlamps”. The grille is larger now, sporting six horizontal slats. The uppermost one has a mix of piano black and chrome, topped with a noticeable Suzuki emblem in the middle. At the front of the car, you’ll spot round fog lights placed by the grille on each side. The higher models will have LED lights in them.

When you look at the car from the side, you’ll notice that the roofline now smoothly connects to the back of the car. It’s still under 4 meters long and comes with 15-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels for the more advanced models, while the mid-range models have a simpler wheel design. Moving to the back of the car, you’ll see the tail lights are shaped like three arrows and feature cool “3D Trinity LED elements.” These tail lights are accented by a thick chrome strip. The design of the trunk and rear bumper is quite similar to the previous model, with some added unique touches at the lower part.

The latest Maruti Suzuki Dzire model has a length of 3,995mm, a width of 1,735mm, and a height of 1,525mm. It comes with a wheelbase of 2,450mm and a ground clearance of 163mm. Essentially, it matches the previous Dzire in dimensions, except for being 10mm taller.

The setup inside remains unchanged. You’ll find a stand-alone 9.0-inch screen and familiar items like the multi-purpose steering wheel, controls, and traditional gauges. The 9-inch Smartplay Pro Plus system supports both Android Auto and Apple CarPlay linking and comes with features for connected cars. Other characteristics of this model incorporate automated climate control, wireless charging, a button to start or stop the engine, back AC vents, a central armrest in the rear, and an electric sunroof that comes pre-installed from the factory.

For the first time, Dzire has introduced some new features. When it comes to safety, the car now includes six airbags, a 360-degree camera, ESP, ABS with EBD, brake assist, hill-hold assist, cruise control, three-point seat belts for all seats, and ISOFIX mounts. Maruti has also added a rear defogger as a standard feature on all Dzire models.

2025 Maruti Suzuki Dzire: Powertrain, Fuel Efficiency 

When it comes to the power under the hood, the Maruti Suzuki Dzire runs on The Z12E three-cylinder 1.2-liter petrol engine. This engine first appeared in the latest Swift model this year and now powers the new Dzire, marking it as the second Maruti vehicle to feature this engine. The power output matches that of the Swift, delivering 82hp and 112Nm of torque. You can pair it with either a five-speed manual transmission or a five-speed AMT automatic transmission.

The latest Dzire has an ARAI-rated fuel efficiency of 24.79 kilometers per liter with manual transmission and 25.71 kilometers per liter with AMT. If you opt for the CNG model, you can expect a fuel efficiency of 33.73 kilometers per kilogram. This places it slightly below the Swift, which achieves 24.8 kilometers per liter with manual transmission and 25.74 kilometers per liter with AMT.
