Honda Activa e Scooter Bookings begin on January 1, 2025, and deliveries by February
Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India has introduced its first electric vehicles. They have launched two new products. The Honda Activa e was designed in India for both local and global markets. On the other hand, the Honda QC 1 was created exclusively for the Indian market. Honda Activa e Scooter Bookings begin on January 1, 2025, and deliveries by February. Honda Activa e: Design, Specs
The Honda Activa e comes in two versions: standard and Honda RoadSync Duo. Honda put a lot of thought into the design of the Activa e, making sure it looks good and works well. The scooter keeps the traditional Activa shape but adds a touch of modern style for electric scooters. It has LED headlights, taillights, and turn signals that make it easier to see and save energy. With a broad seat and roomy footboard, you and your passenger can enjoy a comfortable ride.

The design of this scooter includes a sturdy underbone frame, stylish diamond-cut alloy wheels, and durable tubeless tires for better stability and longevity. For braking, there’s a 160 mm disc in the front and a 130 mm drum in the rear. To ensure a smooth ride, it is equipped with telescopic front forks and a 3-step adjustable, spring-loaded hydraulic rear suspension system.
The Activa e has a size of 1854x700x1125 mm, a wheelbase of 1310 mm, a ground clearance of 171 mm, and a seat length of 675 mm. The weight varies between 118-119 kg based on the model. You can get the Activa e in some amazing color choices like Pearl Shallow Blue, Pearl Misty White, Pearl Serenity Blue, Matt Foggy Silver Metallic, and Pearl Igneous Black.

Honda Activa e: Features
The scooter comes with three ride modes: Econ, Standard, and Sport. It also has a reverse mode to make things easier for you. Plus, it features a charging port and a fob key. The Activa e model has a 5-inch TFT instrument panel that shows you important details such as speed, odometer reading, range, battery status, trip meter, available modes, and basic indicator lights.

The premium Honda RoadSync Duo comes with a user-friendly 7-inch TFT screen that easily links to your smartphone. You get handy features like navigation, control over calls and music, live tracking, maintenance alerts, and the ability to receive over-the-air updates. For added safety, it has a side-stand inhibitor. Moreover, the Smart Key system offers useful functions such as Smart Find, Smart Safe, Smart Start, and Smart Unlock.

Honda Activa e: Powertrain, Battery Pack
The Honda Activa e runs on two 1.5kWh batteries that you can swap at Honda’s Power Pack Exchanger e-stations. It can go up to 102km on one full charge. The batteries power a motor mounted on the swingarm, producing 6kW and 22Nm of torque. The Activa E can reach a top speed of 80kph, and Honda says it can go from 0 to 60kph in 7.3 seconds.
The battery in this electric scooter is built to last, being water and dust-resistant with an IP65 rating. On top of that, it comes with a sturdy 3-year/50,000 km warranty, whichever comes first. This gives you a reliable and stylish choice when opting for an electric scooter.
Honda has decided to establish battery-swapping stations in three cities – Bengaluru, Mumbai, and New Delhi. The first phase will kick off in Bengaluru, with 250 stations set to be up and running by February 2025. Following this, Mumbai and New Delhi will also see the introduction of 100 and 150 swapping stations, respectively, starting from April 2025.
