Old Honda Amaze to Be Sold Together with New Model

Both Old and New Honda Amaze Models to Be Available for Sale

The latest Honda Amaze is now available in India and is becoming a popular choice. Honda’s goal is to make vehicle safety accessible to everyone by providing ADAS at very reasonable prices with this new model. Additionally, the company has stated that two versions of the sedan’s second-generation model will still be available alongside the new one.

This approach is quite common in this industry. Honda Amaze is in competition with the Maruti Suzuki Dzire. Maruti Suzuki also has an older 3rd Gen Dzire marketed as the commercial Tour S. Recent news reveals that Honda intends to make the 2nd Gen Amaze accessible to both individuals and businesses. Dealers mention that there will be several trim options available, such as the S and VX variants. The prices are set to begin at Rs 7.71 lakh for the Amaze S and Rs 9.13 lakh for the Amaze VX (ex-showroom, India).

Conversely, the newly released third-generation Amaze offers a starting price of Rs 8 lakh for the basic V model and goes up to Rs 10.9 lakh for the high-end ZX version. The ZX variant includes advanced features like Honda Sensing ADAS and 15-inch alloy wheels. Additionally, customers can choose to convert the second-generation Amaze to petrol-CNG at an RTO-approved center through the dealership.

The second and third generations of the Amaze car share the same 1.2-liter 90hp petrol engine. However, the third generation offers you the flexibility of selecting either a five-speed manual transmission or a CVT gearbox. Reports indicate that the second generation of the Amaze will not offer the automatic gearbox alternative.
