Isuzu Motors India Celebrates Milestone: 1 Lakh Units Produced at Andhra Pradesh Plant
Isuzu Motors India has reached a major milestone by producing over 100,000 units at its manufacturing plant in Sri City, Andhra Pradesh. The first vehicle to come off the line was the Isuzu D-Max V-Cross, a favorite among Indian consumers.
Since starting operations in 2016, Isuzu Motors India has experienced steady growth. In 2020, the company expanded by launching a press shop and an engine assembly facility to boost production. In just two years, Isuzu has doubled its output of vehicles and engines to meet rising demand in India.

In the area of passenger vehicles, Isuzu offers the MU-X SUV and the D-Max V-Cross pickup. The MU-X is priced at Rs 37 lakh, and the D-Max V-Cross starts at Rs 25.51 lakh, both prices being ex-showroom in Delhi. The company also sells commercial vehicles like the S-Cab and various D-MAX models.
