The Hyundai Creta Electric will come in four versions: Executive, Smart, Premium, and Excellence. To attract buyers, Hyundai is likely to set competitive prices. The estimated starting price is around Rs 15 lakh, with the top model priced at about Rs 20 lakh (ex-showroom).

Hyundai Creta Electric: Design and Advanced Technology
The Hyundai Creta Electric is a testament to Hyundai’s commitment to innovation and cutting-edge technology. The vehicle boasts a pixelated graphic front grille with an integrated charging port, giving it a futuristic and distinctive look. The pixelated graphic lower bumper and rear bumper, along with connected LED tail lamps, further enhance its modern and electrifying appearance.
The Hyundai Creta Electric is equipped with R17 Aero Alloy Wheels with Low Rolling Resistance (LRR) tyres, which contribute to improved range efficiency and aerodynamic performance. The Active Air Flap (AAF) adds a touch of style while optimizing airflow for cooling and enhanced aerodynamics.

Inside, the Creta Electric comes equipped with a 10.25-inch dual-screen setup, multi-mode regenerative braking, shift-by-wire technology, and a panoramic sunroof. The transmission mode selector is a steering column-mounted stalk, adding to the futuristic feel of the vehicle and it also gets a new floating center console design, a vehicle-to-load (V2L) technology, 360-degree cameras, an advanced driver assistance system (ADAS), and Hyundai’s digital key feature.

Hyundai Creta Electric: Powertrain and Battery Pack
The Hyundai Creta Electric comes with two battery choices: a 42 kWh one and a 51.4 kWh one. The base model, equipped with a 42 kWh battery and a 133 bhp electric motor, can travel up to 390 kilometers on a full charge. On the other hand, the Long Range version, featuring the 51.4 kWh battery and a more potent 169 bhp motor, can cover distances of up to 473 kilometers before recharging.
The long-range model of the Creta Electric offers strong performance, reaching speeds of 0 to 100 km/h in just 7.9 seconds. It will include three driving modes: Eco, Normal, and Sport. Additionally, it features a drive mode selector mounted on the steering column, similar to the Ioniq 5. The model also incorporates single-pedal driving, which Hyundai refers to as i-Pedal technology.
Charging the Hyundai Creta Electric is both convenient and efficient. The vehicle can be charged from 10% to 80% in just 58 minutes using DC charging. Additionally, the 11kW Wall Box Home fast AC charger can achieve the same charge range in an impressive 4 hours. This means you can quickly recharge your vehicle and get back on the road in no time.
