Kia Syros Set for Grand Debut at Bharat Mobility Show in New Delhi on January 17
The automotive world is abuzz with the latest offering from Kia – the Syros. This compact SUV is now open for bookings, and it promises to be a game-changer in its segment. Kia has officially opened bookings for the Syros with a booking amount of Rs 25,000.
Customers can reserve their SUV online on the Kia India website or at showrooms. The Syros will debut publicly on January 17 at the Bharat Mobility Show in New Delhi. Test drives are expected to start by the end of January, with deliveries commencing by mid-February.

The Kia Syros will compete with a long list of compact SUVs in the Indian market, including the Skoda Kylaq, Tata Nexon, Maruti Brezza, and Hyundai Venue. With its impressive features, spacious interior, and competitive pricing, the Syros is set to make a significant impact in the compact SUV segment.

Kia Syros Exterior Design
Kia Syros will be available in six trims: HTK, HTK (O), HTK+, HTX, HTX+, and HTX+(O). Buyers can choose from eight colors: Frost Blue, Glacier White Pearl, Sparkling Silver, Intense Red, Imperial Blue, Pewter Olive, Gravity Grey, and Aurora Black Pearl.
The Kia Syros is notable for its strong, upright design and wide stance. Its sharp hood and sleek LED headlights with daytime running lights highlight its power and reflect Kia’s creative design style. This model features Starmap LED daytime running lights that catch the eye, Ice Cube MFR LED headlights for stylish and precise lighting, and streamlined door handles that add a modern flair.

The R17 Crystal Cut Alloy Wheels impress while providing solid performance on the road. The Signature Tiger Nose Grille boosts its bold look, while the Shark Fin Antenna and integrated spoiler enhance both style and connectivity. Sturdy front and rear skid plates offer protection and contribute to a sleek appearance.

Kia Syros Interior Design and Features
The interior of the Kia Syros represents a major advancement in the driving experience. It features a 30-inch Dual Pane Panoramic Sunroof and an Electric Parking Brake with Auto Hold. The vehicle includes twin 12.3-inch screens, one for the digital instrument cluster and another for touchscreen infotainment, making navigation and entertainment straightforward—the Harman Kardon Premium Sound System with eight speakers. The second-row seats can recline and slide, with an option for cooling, a wireless charging pad, and cup holders.

The Kia Syros prioritizes safety with 20 strong standard features. These include 6 airbags, parking sensors for both front and rear, an Emergency Stop Signal (ESS), and a Highline Tyre Pressure Monitor. It also has 3-point seatbelts for all seats, complete with reminders. The vehicle offers ADAS Level 2, enhancing your driving experience with 16 autonomous features. Important ADAS features are Front Collision Warning (FCW), Front Collision-Avoidance Assist for vehicles (FCA – Car), Lane Keep Assist (LKA), and a 360-degree camera.

Kia Syros Powertrain
The Syros will come with two engine choices. The first is the Dynamic Smartstream G1.0 T-GDi petrol engine, producing 120 PS of power and 172 Nm of torque. The second option is the High-performance D1.5 CRDi VGT diesel engine, offering 116 PS of power and 250 Nm of torque. Both engines are also available in the Sonet. The turbo-petrol engine can be paired with either a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. The diesel engine has a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed torque converter automatic option.
