Aprilia Tuono 457 Design and Features
The Aprilia Tuono 457 makes a bold design statement with its compact and essential lines that capture the sporting soul of a true naked bike. The triple full-LED headlight cluster is a nod to Aprilia’s iconic style, while the small spoiler with advanced aerodynamics pays homage to the legendary Tuono 1000 R. Every detail of the bike is crafted with a focus on functional, sports-oriented design. The fuel tank’s excellent ergonomics, combined with the wide handlebar and low seat tapered at the sides, ensure a comfortable yet dynamic riding experience. It will be available in two color options: Piranha Red and Puma Grey.

The Aprilia Tuono 457 stands out in its category with its aluminum frame, promoting outstanding performance. Built with advanced computer-aided engineering technology and rigorously tested on the road, this frame allows the bike to reach a dry weight of only 159 kg. The bike also features a high-quality suspension system, with adjustable preload on both the 41-mm front fork and the rear shock absorber, which works in conjunction with the asymmetrical steel swingarm. Braking duties are managed by disc brakes on both ends.

Technology enhances the enjoyment for Aprilia Tuono 457 riders through an innovative electronics package. Ride by Wire, first developed by Aprilia in MotoGP, works alongside three Riding Modes that adjust power, torque, and traction control to suit different needs while riding. To simplify your experience, you can select the best mode using the easy-to-use backlit commands on the handlebars. Your selection will be shown on the advanced 5-inch TFT color display.

Aprilia Tuono 457 Engine and Performance
The Tuono 457 is powered by the same 457cc parallel-twin engine used in the RS 457. This engine delivers 47.6 bhp at 9,400 rpm and 43.5 Nm of torque, paired with a 6-speed gearbox. It also features a slipper clutch and an optional bidirectional quick-shifter. Other electronic rider aids include traction control, three ride modes, and ABS.
Due to its simpler and more minimalistic design compared to the RS 457, the Tuono 457 is expected to be priced slightly lower than the RS 457, which currently retails at Rs 4.10 lakh (ex-showroom). The exact launch date is yet to be confirmed, but it is expected to be available later this month.
