Aprilia Unveils 2025 RS 125 and Tuono 125: Entry-Level Motorcycles with Euro5+ Engines and Upgrades for the European Market
Aprilia, the well-known Italian motorcycle maker, has announced the new versions of its entry-level sports bikes, the Aprilia RS 125 and Tuono 125, for 2025. These models feature important updates in design and performance, along with meeting the latest Euro 5+ emission standards. However, the manufacturer has not confirmed any plans for a launch in India.
Aprilia RS 125 and Tuono 125: Design, Features, and Technology
The 2025 Aprilia RS 125 and Tuono 125 have undergone notable design revisions, drawing inspiration from their middle-weight siblings. Both models feature a striking front fascia with a three-LED light setup. The RS 125 boasts a full fairing, while the Tuono 125 sports a semi-fairing, giving each bike a distinct look. The new paint schemes add to their visual appeal, with the RS125 available in Kingsnake White and Cyanide Yellow, and the Tuono 125 in Viper Yellow and Mamba Grey.

Aprilia has equipped the 2025 RS 125 and Tuono 125 with advanced features to enhance the riding experience. Both models come with dual-channel ABS sourced from Bosch, which includes an anti-rollover feature to prevent wheel traction loss during emergency braking. The suspension setup consists of 40 mm USD forks at the front and a monoshock at the rear with a symmetrical swingarm.
The bikes also feature a backlit digital instrument cluster that provides essential information such as speed, fuel level, gear position indicator, and real-time average fuel economy. Additionally, owners can opt for a USB charging port for added convenience.

Aprilia RS 125 and Tuono 125: Engine and Performance
Both the RS 125 and Tuono 125 are powered by a 124.2 cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine, now updated to meet Euro 5+ emission standards. This engine delivers 14.7 bhp of power at 10,000 rpm and 11.2 Nm of peak torque at 8,000 rpm. The six-speed transmission ensures smooth gear shifts, and a quickshifter is available as an optional add-on.
