The KTM 790 Duke has a tubular chassis that’s made to be sturdy and small, allowing you to make sharp turns and lean more. The front suspension has a 43 mm open cartridge upside-down fork from WP Suspension. It uses split-function technology to help you fine-tune your ride. In the back, you’ve got a top-notch gas-assisted WP APEX rear shock with a progressive spring and adjustable preload.

The bike’s seat height of 825 mm is made for riders of all heights. It comes with two radially mounted four-piston fixed calipers and two 300 mm discs in the front for strong braking power. At the back, there’s a 240 mm rear brake with a single disc and a single-piston floating caliper. This setup guarantees smooth deceleration and controls whether you’re a shorter or taller rider.

The KTM 790 Duke gives you a choice of five ride modes: STREET, SPORT, RAIN, PERFORMANCE, and TRACK. These modes are tailored for various riding situations and personal tastes. In STREET mode, which is the default setting, you get full power, traction control, and controlled front wheel lift, along with smooth throttle response.

In SPORT mode, you get more precise throttle control and a bit of wheel slip. On the other hand, RAIN mode gives you the most traction and less power when it’s wet out. If you switch to PERFORMANCE or TRACK mode, you’ll have more options to personalize your ride and really enjoy some intense sporty biking.
