The Hyundai Alcazar offers you a choice between a 1.5-liter turbo petrol engine and a 1.5-liter diesel engine.
Hyundai India has declared a price increase for its entire range of models, taking effect from January 2025. The popular three-row SUV, Hyundai Alcazar, is among the models affected. The price increase applies to select Alcazar variants, with hikes reaching up to Rs 15,000.
The Rs 15,000 increase impacts multiple Alcazar variants such as the Signature 1.5 Petrol DCT 7S, Signature Matte 1.5 Petrol DCT 7S dual-tone, Signature 1.5 Petrol DCT 6S, Executive Matte 1.5 Petrol 7S, and Signature Matte 1.5 Petrol DCT 6S dual-tone. Additional variants like the Platinum 1.5 MT Diesel 7S and Platinum Matte 1.5 MT Diesel 7S dual-tone see a price rise of Rs 10,000. Prices for the remaining variants remain unchanged.

The Alcazar comes in four variants: Executive, Prestige, Platinum, and Signature. Buyers can select from nine colors, two engine options, and three transmission types. The Alcazar starts at Rs 14.99 lakh. This price increase may influence potential buyers, but the Alcazar still provides an attractive mix of features and options in the three-row SUV market. The hike is small relative to the value and features of the vehicle.

Hyundai Alcazar Powertrain and Specifications
The Hyundai Alcazar SUV includes two engine options. The 1.5-liter turbo petrol engine produces 158 bhp and 253 Nm of torque. The 1.5-liter diesel engine generates 113 bhp and 250 Nm of torque. Available gearbox choices include a 6-speed manual, a 6-speed automatic, and a 7-speed DCT. For added driving versatility, the Alcazar features Normal, Eco, and Sport modes, along with Snow, Mud, and Sand modes for various conditions. It is equipped with a start/stop system to enhance fuel efficiency.
