Hero Xoom 125 Launches at Rs 86,900 During Bharat Mobility Expo 2025
Hero MotoCorp introduced the Xoom 125 at the Auto Expo 2025, aiming to fill the void in their lineup for a sporty and stylish 125cc scooter. The Xoom 125 comes in two variants: VX and ZX. Bookings for the Hero Xoom 125 will begin in February 2025, with deliveries slated to commence in March 2025.

Hero Xoom 125 VX
The VX variant is priced at Rs 86,900 (ex-showroom) and is available in two colors: Metallic Turbo Blue and Matte Storm Grey. It features all LED lighting, including the headlight, tail light, and indicators. An automatic corner-bending headlight enhances visibility during turns. The scooter is equipped with a new LCD instrument console displaying speedometer, odometer, fuel gauge, real-time mileage, trip meter, clock, and basic tell-tale lights. However, it lacks smartphone connectivity and sequential indicators. The VX rides on 14-inch cast alloy wheels with tubeless tires, supported by a telescopic fork and an offset monoshock. It employs drum brakes at both ends and has a kerb weight of 120kg.

Hero Xoom 125 ZX
The ZX variant, priced at Rs 92,900 (ex-showroom), offers additional features over the VX. It comes in Matte Neon Lime and Inferno Red colors. This variant includes smartphone connectivity, providing turn-by-turn navigation and call/SMS alerts. Additional features comprise a USB charging port, back-lit start button, and a boot light. The ZX also sports machine-cut finish alloy wheels and a front petal disc brake, while retaining a rear drum brake. Its kerb weight is slightly higher at 121kg.

Hero Xoom 125 Engine and Performance
Both variants are powered by a 124.6cc, air-cooled, single-cylinder engine, paired with a CVT. This engine delivers 9PS at 7,250rpm and 10.4Nm at 6,000rpm. Hero MotoCorp claims the Xoom 125 can accelerate from 0 to 60kmph in 7.6 seconds, positioning it as one of the quickest 125cc scooters available.
With its launch, the Hero Xoom 125 enters the competitive 125cc scooter segment in India, going head-to-head with rivals like the TVS Ntorq 125, Suzuki Avenis, and Honda Dio 125. The Xoom 125 aims to attract young and dynamic riders who seek a blend of style, performance, and advanced features in their daily commute.
