In the ever-evolving landscape of motorcycles, Honda has introduced an exciting update: the Honda NX200. Priced at Rs 1.68 lakh (ex-showroom), this model is essentially a rebranded version of the CB200X

The Honda NX200 retains the core essence of the CB200X while embracing a new identity. This rebranding aligns the NX200 with Honda’s larger NX500 model in terms of naming conventions, creating a cohesive family of adventure motorcycles.

Honda NX200 Design and Hardware

In terms of design, the NX200 closely mirrors its predecessor, the CB200X. It retains the LED headlamp, LED turn signals, and X-shaped LED taillight, maintaining a modern and stylish appearance. The motorcycle is equipped with USD front forks and a monoshock suspension at the rear, providing excellent handling and ride comfort.

The braking system consists of disc brakes at both the front and rear, complemented by dual-channel ABS for enhanced safety. Additionally, the NX200 features Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC), ensuring stability on various terrains. Honda offers the NX200 in three vibrant color options: Athletic Blue Metallic, Radiant Red Metallic, and Pearl Igneous Black.

Honda NX200 Advanced Features

The NX200 comes with a new 4.2-inch digital TFT display that offers Bluetooth connectivity and compatibility with the Honda RoadSync app. This integration provides features such as navigation, call notifications, and SMS alerts, enhancing the overall riding experience. Furthermore, the motorcycle is equipped with a USB Type-C charging port, allowing riders to keep their mobile devices charged on the go.

Honda NX200 Engine and Performance

At the heart of the NX200 lies an 184.4 cc single-cylinder, fuel-injected engine. This engine has been updated to comply with the latest OBD-2B regulations, ensuring it meets stringent emission standards. The engine delivers an impressive 16.76 bhp at 8,500 rpm and a peak torque of 15.7 Nm at 6,000 rpm. Paired with a 5-speed transmission featuring an assist and slipper clutch, the NX200 offers a smooth and responsive riding experience.
