Ultraviolette Shockwave Launched at Rs 1.5 Lakh for First 1,000 Units, Price to Rise to Rs 1.75 Lakh

Ultraviolette Automotive has recently introduced the groundbreaking Ultraviolette Shockwave, an off-road electric motorcycle that promises to revolutionize the e-bike market. Priced at an introductory rate of INR 1.50 lakh for the first 1,000 customers, after which it will retail at INR 1.75 lakh.

Unlike many enduro bikes that are restricted to track use, the Shockwave is road-legal, allowing riders to register and use it on public roads. Bookings are now open through Ultraviolette’s official website and dealerships, with deliveries expected to begin in early 2026.

Ultraviolette Shockwave Design and Features

The Ultraviolette Shockwave is built on an all-new lightweight platform, drawing inspiration from rally machines. The bike features an aggressive yet streamlined design, characterized by a high-mounted, beak-like front fender, a slim, single-piece seat, and vertically-stacked LED headlamp. The tall handlebar behind a compact flyscreen and pointy rear fender adds to its sporty aesthetic.

The Shockwave rides on 19-inch front and 17-inch rear wire spoke wheels, with telescopic forks and a rear monoshock unit handling suspension duties. The disc brakes on both wheels offer dependable stopping. Shockwave is available in yellow/black and white/red.

Ultraviolette Shockwave Engine and Performance

Powering the Shockwave is a robust 14.5 bhp electric motor, delivering an astonishing peak torque of 505 Nm at the wheel. The bike is equipped with a 4kWh battery pack, offering a certified IDC range of 165 km on a full charge. Remarkably, the Shockwave weighs just 125 kg, enabling it to accelerate from 0 to 60 km/h in a mere 2.9 seconds, with a top speed of 120 km/h. This combination of power and agility makes it an exceptional choice for off-road enthusiasts and urban riders alike.
