Volkswagen has only brought 150 units of the Golf GTI to India so far. The first batch of bookings is now closed. The company has confirmed it will soon release an additional 100 units. This means buyers need to act fast if they want this exclusive hot hatch. When reservations for the Golf GTI Mk 8.5 opened on May 5, 2025, Volkswagen used a special pre-booking process. Customers had to take an online quiz, and only those who scored at least 4 out of 5 could get a pre-booking link.

Volkswagen Golf GTI: Engine and Performance
