Mahindra Thar Roxx Top Variant AX7L Upgraded with 9-Speaker Dolby Atmos Sound System.
Mahindra & Mahindra plans to increase production of the popular Thar Roxx to meet high demand and shorten wait times. The company has added new features to the vehicle, including Dolby Atmos audio technology. This upgrade is available only in the top-tier AX7L trim and aims to improve in-car entertainment.

Mahindra’s newest update makes the Thar Roxx AX7L the first SUV worldwide to include Dolby Atmos sound technology. This feature places the Thar alongside other top Mahindra models like the BE 6, XEV 9e, and XUV700. The new audio system delivers richer sound with more detail, making music more lively and engaging. It provides a more immersive listening experience for drivers and passengers alike.

Updated Features in Thar Roxx AX7L
The AX7L trim is equipped with numerous standout features. It includes a 9-speaker Harman Kardon sound system, now enhanced with Dolby Atmos for better audio. A panoramic sunroof offers a great view, ideal for long road trips. The vehicle has a 10.25-inch touchscreen for infotainment and advanced connectivity options. Ventilated front seats help keep passengers cool during hot Indian summers.

Engine Options & Price
The Thar Roxx 4×4 is equipped with a powerful 2.2-liter diesel engine. In its most powerful configuration, this engine produces 150 bhp and 330 Nm of torque when matched with the 6-speed manual transmission. If you opt for the 6-speed automatic transmission, you get even more power with 172 bhp and 370 Nm of torque.
You can also get the Mahindra Thar Roxx 2WD model with a 2.0-liter turbo-petrol engine. It delivers 162hp and 330Nm of torque with the manual transmission, and 177hp and 380Nm when paired with the automatic. These engines come with a 6-speed manual gearbox and the option to upgrade to a 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission.

The Thar Roxx is available at an introductory price of Rs 12.99 lakh (ex-showroom), with the top-tier AX7L variant priced at Rs 23.39 lakh. Mahindra has ramped up production to meet growing demand, bringing down the waiting period to 4-6 months. and The first unit of the Mahindra Thar Roxx SUV was put up for auction in a special auction held on September 15 and 16. The vehicle, bearing the unique serial number ‘VIN 0001’, was worth Rs. It was sold for Rs 1.31 crore.
