What Is the FASTag Annual Pass?
The FASTag Annual Pass allows private car, jeep, and van owners to travel toll-free across designated National Highways (NH) and National Expressways (NE) for up to 200 trips or one year, whichever comes first. Priced at Rs 3,000, this pass eliminates per-trip charges for eligible users, making long-distance commutes more cost-effective.

Who Can Avail This Scheme?
The pass is exclusive to private non-commercial vehicles—commercial vehicles are not eligible. Also, your FASTag must be properly affixed, registered with a valid Vehicle Registration Number (VRN), and not blacklisted. Vehicles registered with only a chassis number must first update to a valid VRN.

How to Buy and Activate the Pass
Indian commuters can easily purchase and activate the FASTag Annual Pass through: The Rajmarg Yatra mobile app and The official NHAI website. After verifying vehicle eligibility, users can make the Rs 3,000 payment online. Once confirmed, the pass will be activated on the registered FASTag.

Where Is the Pass Valid?
The FASTag Annual Pass is applicable only at toll plazas managed by NHAI and MoRTH, i.e., National Highways and Expressways. It will not be valid on toll plazas governed by state authorities, local bodies, or private operators (such as certain State Highways or private Expressways), where standard FASTag toll charges will apply.
Once either condition is met—200 trips or one year—the FASTag will automatically revert to its regular pay-per-use mode. However, users can renew the Annual Pass anytime thereafter using the same platforms.
