Tesla has officially launched the much-anticipated Tesla Model Y electric crossover in India, marking a major milestone with its first showroom opening in Mumbai. Alongside the launch, Tesla introduced a configurator tool that lets prospective buyers choose colours, interiors, and optional features.

Model Y Colour Options & Pricing Breakdown
The Model Y comes in six different exterior colors and offers two interior options. These choices are made to suit a variety of tastes. Stealth Grey is included at no extra cost. Pearl White Multi-Coat and Diamond Black, both priced at Rs 95,000 each.
Glacier Blue is available for Rs 1,25,000, while both Quicksilver and Ultra Red are priced at Rs 1,85,000 each. Interior choices include a standard all-black design or an optional black-and-white scheme for an extra Rs 95,000.

Tesla Model Y Optional Features
The only option available at launch is the Full Self-Driving (FSD) feature. It costs Rs 6,00,000. Although the technology is advanced, it still needs government approval. Drivers must stay alert and supervise the vehicle while it’s in use in India. Future updates are expected to add more functions.

Model Y Variant Prices & Booking Details
Tesla offers two rear-wheel drive options in India. The standard Rear-Wheel Drive costs Rs 59,89,000 (Ex-Showroom). The Long Range Rear-Wheel Drive is priced at Rs 67,89,000 (Ex-Showroom).The booking process involves an initial non-refundable deposit of Rs 22,220, payable via card or UPI. This is followed by a subsequent payment of Rs 3,00,000, which must be made within seven days of the initial deposit.
