Mahindra XUV700 crosses 3 lakh sales: 2026 facelift revealed with triple-screen tech and bold styling. AWD engines retained.
Indian carmaker Mahindra & Mahindra has achieved a major success with its flagship SUV, the XUV700. Since launching in 2021, it has sold over 3 lakh units. This strong sales number shows that customers trust the vehicle and that demand remains steady. Notably, the XUV700 sold so well without any updates or redesigns until now.

Mahindra is preparing to launch the first facelift of its XUV700, which will feature significant technological upgrades and refined styling. The exterior will see several enhancements, including a redesigned front fascia with new circular LED headlights and bold DRLs.
The grille will also be updated, showcasing slanted vertical slats, while a refreshed bumper design aims to give the vehicle a more commanding road presence. Spy shots of camouflaged prototypes suggest new alloy wheel designs are on the way, and there’s a strong likelihood of a sleek LED light bar being added to the rear.

Interior & Tech Makeover
The interior of the vehicle is getting a significant technological upgrade, highlighted by a triple-screen layout similar to the Mahindra XEV9e. This setup includes a dedicated driver display, a central infotainment touchscreen, and a separate passenger screen.
Beyond the display enhancements, the vehicle will feature a digital key, auto-parking capabilities, and an upgraded Harman Kardon sound system with Dolby Atmos for an immersive audio experience. These advancements collectively aim to provide enhanced connectivity and seamless integration with smart technologies.

Engine & Performance (No Changes Expected)
The upcoming model is not expected to feature any changes to its engine and performance. It will continue to offer a 2.0L turbo-petrol engine, producing approximately 197 bhp and 380 Nm of torque, and a 2.2L diesel engine, delivering 182 bhp and up to 450 Nm of torque.
Both engines will be paired with either a 6-speed manual or automatic transmission. All-wheel drive options will remain available. While rumors of a plug-in hybrid variant persist, they have not been confirmed for this particular update.
