Toyota India launches the ninth-gen 2026 Toyota Hilux in India at ₹31.99 lakh with bold design, advanced tech, and 2.8L diesel power.
Toyota has officially introduced the ninth-generation Hilux pick-up truck in India, priced from ₹31.99 lakh (ex-showroom). Arriving just eight months after its global debut, the new Hilux blends rugged appeal with modern technology, making it one of the most versatile lifestyle trucks in the market.
The 2026 Toyota Hilux is offered in two trims – GX and VX – with the GX available in both 4×2 and 4×4 configurations, while the VX comes exclusively with 4×4. Prices range from ₹31.99 lakh for the GX 4×2 AT to ₹36.69 lakh for the VX 4×4 AT.

Visually, the Hilux has undergone a significant redesign. Its upright fascia, slim headlamps, bold grille, and squared wheel arches give it a muscular stance. The rear features vertical tail lamps with C-shaped LED guides, maintaining a clean yet robust look.
Inside, Toyota has elevated the cabin experience with a 12.3-inch touchscreen, digital instrument cluster, and layered dashboard design. Premium features include 360-degree cameras, terrain modes, connected car tech, and tyre pressure monitoring. Safety is also a priority, with seven airbags, ABS with EBD, and advanced driver aids offered as standard.

Under the hood, the Hilux continues with the proven 2.8-litre diesel engine, producing 201 bhp and 500 Nm of torque (420 Nm with manual). A six-speed automatic transmission is standard, and for the first time, Toyota offers a two-wheel-drive option in India, broadening its appeal beyond hardcore off-road enthusiasts.
