BMW India has officially launched the 2025 BMW 2 Series Gran Coupe sedan, marking a significant update to its most affordable luxury offering in the country. With refreshed styling, upgraded tech, and a new powertrain, the sedan is poised to attract urban professionals and driving enthusiasts alike.
The 2025 BMW 2 Series Gran Coupe comes in two main trims: the 218i M Sport and the 218i M Sport Pro. The base model is priced at Rs 46.90 lakh, while the upgraded version costs Rs 48.90 lakh, both ex-showroom in India. It offers luxury features without crossing the Rs 50 lakh mark, making it accessible for many buyers.

Design & Exterior Updates
The new BMW 2 Series gets a fresher, more modern look. Its kidney grille now shines with illumination, adding a bold touch. The headlights are borrowed from the global 1 Series hatchback, giving it a sharper view.
The front bumper has been redesigned with wider air intakes, making the car look more aggressive. The rear profile has also been updated, featuring stylish taillamps and a prominent diffuser. Larger 18-inch alloy wheels complete the look, boosting both style and road presence.

Interior & Tech Features
Inside, It has two screens: a 10.7-inch touchscreen for entertainment and a 10.25-inch digital display for the gauges. The car runs on BMW OS9, the latest system for better connectivity and control. Comfort is a priority with dual-zone climate control, mood lighting, and powered seats.
Safety and convenience are covered with a rearview camera, interior camera, and cruise control that can brake if needed. The audio system includes 12 Harman Kardon speakers for a rich sound. The Pro version adds a head-up display and a surround-view camera, making driving easier and more confident.

2025 BMW 2 Series Gran Coupe: Engine & Performance
The 2025 model features a new engine focused on efficiency and city driving. It has a 1.5-liter, three-cylinder turbo petrol engine that delivers 154 horsepower and 230 Nm of torque. The car is equipped with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission for smooth shifting. It can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 8.6 seconds, with a top speed of 230 km/h. The drivetrain is front-wheel drive, making it well-suited for city streets and highway trips.
