Performance & Battery
The MG M9 Electric uses a 90kWh NMC battery made from nickel, manganese, and cobalt. This type of battery stores more energy than lithium-iron phosphate (LFP), so it can travel farther on a single charge. MG states the vehicle can go up to 548 km on a full charge. It produces a peak power of 245 horsepower and has a maximum torque of 350 Nm. The car is front-wheel drive, which is a notable feature for a three-row MPV.
Charging options are versatile. A 160kW DC fast charger can fill it in just 90 minutes. Meanwhile, an 11kW AC charger, perfect for homes or office use, takes about 10 hours for a full charge. The vehicle also supports Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) and Vehicle-to-Vehicle (V2V) charging, adding more convenience.
