What’s the Issue?
SAVWIPL’s internal check revealed two major safety issues with the seatbelts. The rear seatbelt assemblies on both sides may have cracks in the metal base, making them less safe in a crash. Additionally, some front and rear seats might contain seatbelt parts that do not meet safety standards. These problems raise serious concerns about passenger safety and require immediate action.

SAVWIPL has confirmed that owners can get free inspections and repairs at authorized Skoda and Volkswagen dealerships. They will reach out to owners ahead of time to set up service appointments.
