Mahindra Auto, one of India’s top SUV manufacturers, has made a strategic price move that’s bound to stir excitement in the subcompact SUV segment. The brand has announced a direct Rs 20,000 price reduction for its popular Mahindra XUV 3XO AX5 variant—a decision that not only boosts affordability but also enhances the value-for-money proposition amidst stiff market competition.

The Rs 20,000 reduction is only for the Mahindra XUV 3XO AX5 Petrol Manual and Petrol Automatic models. These versions come with a 1.2L TCMPFi Petrol engine that delivers 109 bhp of power and 200 Nm of torque. You can choose between manual and automatic transmissions with these trims.
This move follows the launch of the new REVX variants, particularly REVX A, which slots above AX5 but below AX5 L. By repositioning AX5’s pricing, Mahindra is clearly aiming to separate its trim hierarchy, giving customers more defined choices.
