KTM India launches the all-new KTM 160 Duke at Rs 1.85 lakh. Powered by a 164.2 cc engine, it features ride-by-wire, dual-channel ABS, and smartphone connectivity.
KTM India has officially launched the all-new KTM 160 Duke, priced at Rs 1.85 lakh (ex-showroom), marking a strategic shift in its entry-level lineup. With the discontinuation of the KTM 125 Duke earlier this year, the 160 Duke now becomes the gateway model into the Duke family, offering a compelling mix of performance, technology, and aggressive styling.

Engine & Performance
The KTM 160 Duke features a brand new 164.2 cc engine. This engine has one cylinder and is liquid-cooled. It also has a SOHC setup. Its top performance numbers are: 18.7 bhp power at 9,500 rpm. It produces 15.5 Nm of torque at 7,500 rpm.
The bike uses a ride-by-wire throttle. Braking is handled by dual-channel ABS. This ABS has a Supermoto mode. The rear ABS can be switched off. The front brake disc measures 320 mm. The rear disc is 230 mm.

Chassis & Suspension
The 160 Duke uses KTM’s strong steel trellis frame. It has WP Apex front forks. These forks are upside-down with a hollow axle. A WP monoshock handles the rear. The frame is light and stiff. This helps with its nimble handling. This setup matches the 200 Duke. It provides steady rides and good cornering feel.
