Rolls-Royce has revealed the Phantom Centenary Private Collection, a strictly limited 25-unit series that marks a century of the Phantom nameplate. Described by the marque as its most complex Private Collection to date, the project reportedly consumed over 40,000 hours of development and delivers craftsmanship and storytelling rarely seen in automotive news.

The Centenary Phantom presents a deliberately classical exterior in Black & White, enhanced by a unique Super Champagne Crystal clear coat that embeds champagne-coloured iridescent glass flakes for depth and subtle shimmer. The Spirit of Ecstasy returns with a retro-inspired sculpt and is cast in 18-carat gold before receiving a 24-carat gold plating, complete with a ‘Phantom Centenary’ hallmark from London’s assay office. For the first time Rolls-Royce badges are finished in 24-carat gold and white enamel, and the car sits on exclusive ‘Phantom’ wheels that complete the period-inspired look.

Inside, the Centenary collection turns the cabin into a rolling gallery. Rear seat upholstery features layered artwork referencing key moments from Phantom history — from the brand’s original Conduit Street showroom to bespoke Phantom commissions of the past. Rolls-Royce partnered with a fashion atelier for more than a year to execute the embroidered seat art. Front seats carry laser-etched motifs that recall Phantom codenames — a seagull for the Phantom I prototype and a nod to ‘Roger Rabbit’ for the 2003 Phantom — tying design language across generations.

Even the seatback picnic tables are worked into the theme; one table depicts the 1925 Phantom I while its partner shows the contemporary model. A Starlight headliner carries floral motifs inspired by the Goodwood estate, and the engine bay receives a bespoke white cover with gold detailing — a rare touch for mechanical presentation.
