2026 Ducati Streetfighter V4 — more power, revised ergonomics and new tech; prices start at Rs 28.69 lakh.

Ducati has introduced the 2026 Streetfighter V4 in India, bringing a sharper look, revised ergonomics and meaningful mechanical updates. Priced from Rs 28.69 lakh for the standard model and Rs 32.38 lakh for the V4 S, the naked V4 now arrives with more power, a new swingarm and an electronics package that underlines its road-focused performance.

At the heart of the Streetfighter remains the 1,103cc Desmosedici Stradale V4 engine, now Euro 5+ compliant and tuned to produce 214hp at 13,500rpm and 120Nm at 11,250rpm. Ducati offers a full Akrapovič system as an option, which raises peak output to a claimed 226hp. Braking hardware is top-spec Brembo, while the V4 S benefits from lighter forged wheels, electronic Öhlins suspension and a lithium-ion battery that help shave roughly 2kg off the weight.

Visually the 2026 Ducati Streetfighter V4 model is evolutionary rather than radical. The Streetfighter adopts a twin-sided Hollow Symmetrical swingarm, departing from the single-sided unit of earlier models. Ducati says this change lowers lateral stiffness and trims weight. The slimmer 15.8-litre tank, redesigned winglets and a four-section full-LED headlight give the bike a modern, aggressive face while delivering aerodynamic downforce at speed.

Chassis and suspension updates follow the Panigale’s lead. The standard bike uses Showa’s fully adjustable 43mm BPF fork with a Sachs monoshock, while the S model receives the Smart EC 3.0 electronic suspension setup. Ergonomically, the handlebar has been moved 10mm closer and the footpegs repositioned for improved control and comfort, especially for taller riders.

Electronics are a highlight: a new 6.9-inch TFT dash controls an extensive suite including traction and wheelie control, launch control, cornering ABS, a bi-directional quickshifter and a six-axis IMU. A Race eCBS function is added to the Streetfighter’s toolkit, automatically applying rear braking based on lean angle and other inputs to help stabilise the bike in critical situations.
