Hero Vida VX2 Go 3.4kWh variant launched at Rs 1.02 lakh; BaaS option cuts upfront cost to just Rs 60,000.
Hero Motorcycles has quietly expanded the Vida VX2 family with a new Go variant featuring a smaller 3.4kWh battery pack, priced at Rs 1.02 lakh (ex-showroom). The move gives buyers a lower-cost entry point into the Vida VX2 lineup and widens Hero’s electric-scooter offering for city riders looking for a value-oriented option.

One of the headline attractions of this launch is the availability of Hero’s Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) plan for the new 3.4kWh model. With BaaS the upfront payment drops substantially — Autocar India reports the immediate outlay can fall to about Rs 60,000 when buyers opt to lease the battery instead of purchasing it outright — a practical option for commuters prioritising lower purchase costs.

The Hero Vida VX2 Go joins the existing VX2 range and positions itself as the budget-friendly choice. Autocar’s model listings show the Vida VX2 family occupying price brackets slightly above the new Go variant, underlining that the 3.4kWh option is intended to broaden reach among urban users who want an electric scooter without a premium price tag.
