Benelli TRK 902 Stradale — a road-biased touring version of the Xplorer with a 904cc twin, 20L tank and rider tech.
Benelli has introduced the TRK 902 Stradale, a road-focused variant of the Xplorer that tightens up the touring package for long highway miles and everyday usability. While it shares the same steel frame and 904cc twin as the Xplorer, the Stradale reworks suspension, wheels and comfort features to suit pavement-biased touring rather than off-road work.

The Benelli TRK 902 Stradale rolls on 17-inch alloy wheels shod with Pirelli Angel GT II tyres, lowering seat height and improving on-road manners compared with its sibling. Suspension travel has been reduced and the bike uses Marzocchi shock absorbers up front and rear; braking duties are carried out by Brembo units for stronger, more confidence-inspiring stopping power. The seat height is listed at a more accessible 805mm.

At the heart of the machine is Benelli’s 904cc, liquid-cooled twin that produces 96 bhp and 90 Nm, fed through a six-speed gearbox and Bosch ride-by-wire throttle. The motor’s character is tuned to balance mid-range tractability with relaxed high-speed cruising, making it well suited to long distances.

Touring credentials are bolstered by a generous 20-litre fuel tank, an electrically adjustable windscreen and cruise control, all of which underline Benelli’s intention for the Stradale to be a comfortable long-distance companion. Riders can further spec the bike with a luggage system, crash bars, dashcam and even radar-based blind-spot detection that provides visual alerts on mirrors and the dash.

The electronics suite is comprehensive for the segment: a seven-inch TFT display with navigation, multiple riding modes (Sport, Touring, Urban), traction control, a quickshifter, tyre-pressure monitoring and heated grips and seats. These systems make the Benelli TRK 902 Stradale a modern, tech-rich touring motorcycle ready for variable conditions.
