Hero Xtreme 160R 4V Launched with cruise control, ride-by-wire and new Combat Edition colour — priced at ₹1.34 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).

Hero MotoCorp has expanded the Hero Xtreme 160R 4V lineup with a new top-spec variant that brings cruise control and a smarter electronics package to the 163.2cc commuter-sport segment. The updated model sits above the standard 4V in the range and carries an ex-showroom Delhi price of ₹1.34 lakh, roughly ₹4,485 more than the regular variant.

Mechanically, the Xtreme 160R 4V remains unchanged. It continues to be powered by a 163.2cc single-cylinder, air/oil-cooled engine that produces 16.9hp at 8,500rpm and 14.6Nm at 6,500rpm, keeping the bike’s performance and efficiency figures identical to the standard model.

The headline addition is a ride-by-wire throttle system that enables cruise control — a feature increasingly rare in this price bracket. The ride-by-wire unit also unlocks three selectable riding modes: Rain, Road and Sport. These modes are accessed via updated switchgear and are displayed on a new colour LCD instrument cluster borrowed from Hero’s higher-end models.

On the styling and equipment front, the new variant receives an LED headlight design inspired by the larger Xtreme 250R, and is offered in four colour schemes. Alongside conventional dual-tone finishes there’s a new exclusive ‘Combat Edition’ matte grey finish reserved for this variant, giving the bike a sharper, more premium presence.
