2026 Kia Seltos launched in India at ₹10.99 lakh with fresh design, bigger dimensions, advanced tech and multiple engine options.
Kia has officially unveiled the much-anticipated 2026 Seltos in the Indian market, kicking off the new year with one of the biggest compact SUV launches. The second-generation Seltos arrives with a striking redesign, enhanced features and a strong value proposition, starting at an attractive ₹10.99 lakh (ex-showroom).
Gone is the familiar silhouette of the outgoing model — the 2026 Kia Seltos sports Kia’s latest global design language that blends boldness with a refined attitude. Up front, the SUV flaunts a larger grille, split LED lighting and a muscular bumper that give it a confident road stance. The side profile benefits from squared-off wheel arches and sleek flush door handles, while the rear gains slim LED tail lamps and an integrated spoiler for a cohesive new look.

Built on Kia’s updated K3 platform, the new Seltos has grown in size compared to its predecessor. It now measures around 4,460 mm in length with a wheelbase stretched by 80 mm, making the cabin roomier and more comfortable for occupants.
Inside, the cabin carries a contemporary and tech-rich ambience. The dashboard layout features clean lines and reduced physical buttons, focusing on smart tech integration. Higher variants boast a panoramic curved display combining dual 12.3-inch screens — one for infotainment and the other for the digital instrument cluster — while climate controls are handled through a dedicated touchscreen with essential physical buttons retained for quick access.

Kia has significantly upgraded features across the lineup. Standard kit includes larger touchscreen infotainment with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, cruise control, keyless entry and LED lighting even on lower trims. Mid-range and top trims get ventilated seats, powered driver seat with memory, panoramic sunroof, 64-colour ambient lighting, and advanced Level-2 ADAS safety tech beyond just the top-end models.
Under the hood, Kia hasn’t strayed far from proven powertrains. The 2026 Seltos continues with three familiar 1.5-litre engines — a naturally aspirated petrol, a turbo-GDi petrol and a 1.5-litre diesel — tuned for efficiency and drivability. Transmission choices remain versatile with manual, CVT/IVT, iMT, DCT and torque-converter automatic options depending on the engine selected.

Kia is offering the Seltos in 10 variants spread across four key trims — HTE, HTK, HTX and GTX — with an exclusive X-Line treatment available on the highest variants. Prices range up to around ₹19.99 lakh for fully loaded versions. Bookings opened in December and deliveries are expected to start soon.
