Jawa introduces a fresh Ivory colour option for the Jawa 42 neo-retro bike, now India’s most premium shade at ₹1.85 lakh (ex-showroom).
Classic Legends has added a stylish twist to the popular Jawa 42 with the launch of a new Ivory colour option in India, priced at ₹1.85 lakh (ex-showroom, New Delhi). This fresh pastel-inspired shade takes the 42’s already broad palette to 15 colour choices, making it one of the most visually varied motorcycles in its segment.

The Ivory finish is a cosmetic update only and does not alter the bike’s mechanical character. Underneath its neo-retro bodywork, the Jawa 42 continues to be powered by the same 294 cc liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine, churning out around 27.3 hp and 26.8 Nm of torque, matched to a smooth 6-speed gearbox.

What sets this new variant apart are the retro-styled graphics and subtle design cues. The refined ivory tone is complemented by classic decals, including a large ‘forty two’ script on the fuel tank, as well as chequered-flag motifs that echo racing heritage from the 1960s and ’70s. These visual elements elevate the bike’s vintage appeal without changing its silhouette, wheels, or ergonomics.
The Jawa 42’s design has always balanced old-school charm with modern touches, and the Ivory shade reinforces this identity. Its teardrop tank, offset analogue-digital instrument cluster, and simple yet purposeful bodywork make it an eye-catching ride in urban traffic or open roads alike. Now with 15 colourways to choose from, buyers can further personalise their bike to match their taste.
