2026 Renault Duster launched in India at Rs 10.49 lakh with a new design, hybrid tech, AWD option, and modern features.
Renault India has officially reintroduced the 2026 Renault Duster model, starting at Rs 10.49 lakh (ex-showroom). The new Duster is built on the CMF-B platform, which also underpins several global models. This architecture allows Renault to offer improved safety, better driving dynamics, and electrified powertrain options, making the SUV more future-ready than ever before.

In terms of design, the 2026 Duster adopts a rugged yet modern look. It gets a more upright stance, a muscular bonnet, and a redesigned front fascia with a prominent grille and sleek LED lighting elements. The squared wheel arches and high ground clearance enhance its SUV appeal, while the rear design features Y-shaped LED tail lamps that add a distinctive identity.

Inside the cabin, Renault has taken a significant leap forward in terms of quality and technology. The interior now feels more premium with improved materials and a more ergonomic layout. A large touchscreen infotainment system sits at the centre, supporting wireless connectivity features, while a fully digital instrument cluster enhances the driver experience. Practicality remains a strong point, with ample storage spaces and a spacious cabin designed for family use.

Under the hood, currently, the Duster is powered by two distinct turbocharged petrol engines, 1.0L Three-Cylinder: This entry-level engine delivers 99 bhp and 160 Nm of torque. It is paired exclusively with a six-speed manual gearbox and is reserved for the three base trim levels.
1.3L Four-Cylinder: A more robust choice producing 158 bhp and 280 Nm of peak torque. Buyers can choose between a six-speed manual or a six-speed dual-clutch automatic. This engine becomes available starting from the “Evolution” trim (the second tier in the lineup)—a strong-hybrid version launching around the Diwali season.
Safety has also been significantly upgraded. The new model comes with multiple airbags, ABS with EBD, advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), and improved structural rigidity. These additions bring the Duster in line with modern safety expectations and regulatory requirements.
