Mercedes-Benz CLA EV launched in India at ₹55 lakh, offering up to 792km range, advanced tech, and sleek design.

The Mercedes-Benz CLA EV is offered in two variants – the 200 Standard Range and the 250+ Long Range. The entry-level 200 comes with a 58kWh battery delivering a WLTP-certified range of 542km, powered by a 224hp rear-mounted motor capable of 0-100kph in 7.5 seconds.

The 250+ Long Range variant steps up with an 85kWh battery, extending range to an impressive 792km, while its 272hp motor reduces the sprint time to 6.7 seconds. Both versions feature Porsche Taycan-inspired two-speed gearboxes and support ultra-fast charging at up to 320kW, enabling a 300km recharge in just 10 minutes.

Design remains a highlight, with a drag coefficient of just 0.21, frameless doors, coupe-like roofline, and AMG styling on higher trims. The Launch Edition adds exclusivity with matte black paint, 19-inch alloys, illuminated door sills, and Mercedes’ Superscreen triple-display setup.

Inside, the Mercedes-Benz CLA EV blends luxury with technology. A panoramic glass roof, Burmester 3D audio, ambient lighting, heated and massaging seats, and Level 2+ ADAS enhance comfort and safety. Practicality is ensured with 405 litres of boot space plus a 101-litre frunk. Mercedes also offers an 8-year/1,60,000km battery warranty, strengthening buyer confidence.
