The 2026 Tata Tiago EV has been launched with fresh styling, advanced safety features, and faster charging, making it India’s most affordable EV.
Tata Motors has officially rolled out the updated 2026 Tata Tiago EV, priced from ₹6.99 lakh (ex-showroom), making it the most affordable electric car in India. With this facelift, Tata has not only refreshed the design but also packed in new features, enhanced safety, and improved charging capabilities, while keeping the battery options familiar.

The Tiago EV now sports a sharper front fascia with sleek LED headlamps, DRLs, and a closed-off grille. At the rear, connected LED tail-lamps and a revised bumper elevate its appeal. Buyers can choose from six vibrant exterior shades, including Dehradun Dew and Pangong Pulse. Inside, the cabin has been completely redesigned with a dual-tone dashboard, a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, wireless Android Auto/Apple CarPlay, and a part-digital instrument cluster.
Tata has significantly upgraded the Tiago EV’s safety kit. Six airbags are now standard, alongside a 360-degree camera, blind-view monitor, ESP with traction control, hill-hold assist, and strengthened structural rigidity for better crash protection.

The Tiago EV continues with two battery pack options: 19.2kWh and 24kWh. The smaller unit delivers 61hp with a range of 226km, while the larger offers 75hp and up to 285km. Charging is now 40% faster, with 100km of range added in just 18 minutes. Both packs support DC fast charging, reaching 10–80% in 35 minutes. Tata also offers a Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) scheme, lowering the entry price to ₹4.69 lakh with pay-per-kilometre usage.
