The electric scooter market is becoming very competitive, with Honda and Suzuki introducing their newest models: the Honda Activa e: and the Suzuki e-Access. Both scooters target the rising interest in eco-friendly transportation but offer unique features and performance levels.
The Honda Activa e: keeps its classic appeal while adding modern updates, whereas the Suzuki e-Access focuses on being a high-tech choice for city riders. This comparison will look at their specs to help customers choose the electric scooter that best fits their needs.

Activa e vs e-Access: Variants, Price, and Colour Options
Honda offers the Activa e: in two versions: the standard model and the more advanced Honda RoadSync Duo. The standard variant costs Rs 1.17 lakh, while the premium option is priced at Rs 1.52 lakh, both figures are ex-showroom prices. The Activa e: is available in five colors: Pearl Igneous Black, Pearl Misty White, Matt Foggy Silver Metallic, Pearl Shallow Blue, and Pearl Serenity Blue.
Suzuki has not yet announced the prices for the e-Access, but it will be available in three colors: Pearl Grace White, Pearl Jade Green, and Metallic Mat Black 2.

Honda Activa e vs Suzuki e-Access: Features
The Activa e: includes modern features like a smart key system, a 5-inch TFT screen on the standard model, reverse mode, a 7-inch touchscreen in the RoadSync Duo, a side-stand indicator, all-LED lighting, and auto-brightness.
The e-Access also features a TFT display with Bluetooth, which allows for turn-by-turn navigation and call/message notifications. It includes a smart key that helps locate it if lost, a USB charging port, and a side-stand warning system for increased safety and convenience.

Activa e vs e-Access: Battery Specs and Range
The Activa e: features swappable battery technology, utilizing two 1.5kWh batteries under the seat. It has a swingarm-mounted motor that produces 8.04bhp and 22Nm of torque, allowing it to accelerate from 0 to 60 km/h in 7.3 seconds and reach a top speed of 80 km/h. The claimed range is 102 km, and it offers three riding modes: Econ, Standard, and Sport. Charging must be done at Honda’s designated Power Pack Exchanger e: stations, with plans for more charging locations in the future.
On the other hand, the e-Access has a fixed 3.07kWh LFP battery and a swingarm-mounted motor that provides 8.49bhp and 15Nm of torque. Its top speed is 71 km/h, and it also features three riding modes (Eco, Ride A, and Ride B). Charging takes 4 hours and 30 minutes to reach 80% and about 6 hours and 42 minutes for a full charge. With the fast-charging option, it can reach 80% in just 1 hour and 12 minutes, while a complete charge takes 2 hours and 12 minutes.
