KTM 390 Enduro R Design and Features

The 390 Enduro R shares its main frame and swingarm with the 390 Adventure, ensuring reliability and stability. Braking duties are managed by a 285mm front disc and a 240mm rear disc, providing confident stopping power.

While the international model boasts 230mm suspension travel at both ends, the India-specific version sees a recalibrated setup. The suspension offers a travel of 200mm at the front and 205mm at the rear, ensuring a seat height of 860mm—a welcome change for riders who found the international model’s 890mm height less accessible. Ground clearance has also been optimized, standing at 253mm compared to the 272mm found in overseas variants.

At 177kg, the KTM 390 Enduro R is significantly lighter than its Adventure siblings, with the weight reduction attributed to its minimalist design. The bike features a streamlined 9-liter fuel tank seamlessly integrated with its single-piece seat, ensuring a slimmer and more agile form. This makes the bike a great choice for challenging terrains where maneuverability is key.

KTM 390 Enduro R Engine and Performance

Under the hood, the KTM 390 Enduro R houses the familiar 399cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled LC4c engine, shared with the 390 Duke and 390 Adventure models. Delivering a robust output of 46hp and 39Nm of torque, this engine strikes a perfect balance of power and efficiency, catering to adventure enthusiasts and off-road explorers alike.
