Maruti Suzuki Eeco is now safer with 6 standard airbags, with no cosmetic or mechanical updates.
In a significant step forward for passenger safety, Maruti Suzuki has introduced six airbags as part of the standard safety package for its popular Eeco MPV. This update underscores the brand’s commitment to enhancing safety features across its lineup while catering to the needs of families and businesses that rely on the Eeco for versatile transportation solutions.

Maruti Suzuki Eeco: Key Updates:
The 2025 model year brings notable changes to the Eeco variant lineup, including the introduction of a new six-seat configuration that replaces the previously available seven-seat variant. The six-seat option features a middle row with two individual seats, offering improved comfort for passengers. However, it’s important to note that the air conditioning feature remains exclusive to the five-seat AC variant.

Other safety enhancements include the addition of two front side airbags and two curtain airbags, complementing the previously standard dual front airbags. In addition, Maruti Suzuki has equipped all variants with three-point seat belts for every passenger, further bolstering occupant safety.

Unchanged Features Maintain Familiarity
While the updates prioritize safety, other aspects of the Eeco remain consistent with previous models. The MPV continues to offer a straightforward design, featuring halogen headlights, basic interior styling with a digital instrument cluster, and manual air conditioning controls in select variants. Power is provided by a 1.2-liter petrol engine producing 81 bhp and 105 Nm of torque, paired with a five-speed manual gearbox. A CNG variant is also available, delivering 70.67 bhp and 95 Nm of torque.
Safety technology includes ABS with EBD, reverse parking sensors, electronic stability control (ESP), and ELR-equipped seat belts, ensuring compliance with modern safety standards.

The addition of six airbags positions the Eeco as a competitive choice in the MPV market, aligning with growing consumer demand for safer vehicles. This update comes as Maruti Suzuki adjusts pricing across its lineup, with the Eeco now seeing a price increase of up to Rs 22,500.
