Hyundai will reveal its new high-performance electric sedan, the Ioniq 6 N, at the Goodwood Festival of Speed in July 2025. Following the success of the Ioniq 5 N, the company plans to add sportier EVs to its lineup. With more people in India becoming interested in clean, fast electric cars, the Ioniq 6 N could attract many fans and buyers.

Aerodynamic Design & Exterior Highlights

Hyundai revealed several images of the Ioniq 6 N, highlighting its bold and aerodynamic look. The car features a smooth, streamlined body with a sharp hood and sleek LED daytime running lights. Wide fenders give it a broad stance, while new lightweight wheels improve efficiency. A ducktail spoiler and a large wing are designed to boost aerodynamics. The rear showcases pixel-shaped LED taillights, giving it a modern and futuristic style.

Hyundai follows three core principles for the N series—‘Corner Rascal’, ‘Racetrack Capability’, and ‘Everyday Sportscar’, ensuring a perfect blend of track performance and daily usability.

Hyundai Ioniq 6 N: Expected Performance

Details about the Ioniq 6 N are limited, but it is likely to have the same 641 bhp all-wheel-drive electric motor as the Ioniq 5 N. If true, this means the sedan could feature a dual-motor setup with 222 bhp at the front and 377 bhp at the rear. It may accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in about 3.4 seconds. The top speed might reach 260 km/h. The car is expected to have an 84 kWh battery that offers a range of around 355 km on a single charge.

Expected Pricing & Indian Market Prospects

Globally, the Ioniq 5 N is priced at $66,200 (₹56.62 lakh), suggesting that the Ioniq 6 N may command a slight premium but remain under $70,000 (₹59.87 lakh). While Hyundai hasn’t officially confirmed an India launch, the increasing demand for high-performance EVs, along with government initiatives promoting electric mobility, could make the Ioniq 6 N an attractive option for Indian buyers.
