The electric Sport retains familiar design cues but introduces advanced features such as adaptive damping, rear-wheel steering, intelligent regeneration modes, and single-pedal driving. A unique sound design has also been engineered to enhance the driving experience, while multiple drive modes allow customization for different terrains and preferences.
Martin Limpert, Managing Director of Range Rover, emphasized that electric power adds “a new edge” to the Sport, combining refinement with instant performance. The SUV is positioned to redefine the luxury performance EV segment when it officially launches later in 2026.
The Range Rover Sport EV will join an already diverse lineup that includes plug-in hybrids, mild-hybrid petrols, and diesel options. Importantly, JLR has confirmed that all Range Rover nameplates will have electric versions by 2030, including the Velar and Evoque.
