A Fresh Face for the Iconic City

The 2026 Honda City Facelift brings a completely redesigned fascia, highlighted by sleeker headlamps with a new LED DRL signature connected by a light bar. A honeycomb-patterned grille replaces the outgoing chrome trim, while the bumper gets wider air intakes for a sportier stance. At the rear, a two-tone bumper with integrated reflectors and a faux diffuser adds to the refreshed appeal. Honda has also introduced a new Crystal Black Pearl shade alongside existing color options like Radiant Red, Obsidian Blue, Meteoroid Grey, Lunar Silver, and Platinum White.

Powertrain Options

Under the hood, the 2026 City continues with its reliable 1.5-litre petrol engine producing 121hp and 145Nm, paired with either a 6-speed manual or a CVT. The strong-hybrid e:HEV variant, available only in the top ZX+ trim, delivers 126hp and 253Nm with an impressive claimed efficiency of 27.26kpl. Honda is also offering a new 5-year warranty on hybrid components, reinforcing its commitment to electrified mobility.

Pricing and Competition

The City facelift is offered in four trims—SV, V, ZX, and ZX+. Prices range from ₹12 lakh for the base petrol manual to ₹21 lakh for the hybrid ZX+. While the entry-level price remains unchanged, the top-spec petrol-CVT and hybrid variants see hikes of over ₹1 lakh.
