Maserati Grecale is available in three variants: GT, Modena, and Trofeo
Maserati has just launched the Grecale SUV in India. It’s designed to be a smaller alternative to the Levante model. The Grecale is available in three versions – GT, Modena, and Trofeo, priced at Rs 1.31 crore, Rs 1.53 crore, and Rs 2.05 crore respectively (all ex-showroom, India). When it comes to pricing, the Grecale is more expensive than its main competitor, the Porsche Macan.
Maserati Grecale Powertrain
Both the Maserati Grecale GT and Modena versions come with a 2.0-liter 4-cylinder turbo-petrol engine that has mild-hybrid technology. The GT model generates 300 HP, allowing it to go from 0 to 100 km/hr in just 5.6 seconds and hit a maximum speed of 240 km/hr.
On the other hand, the Modena version has been tweaked to produce 330 horsepower, enabling it to go from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.3 seconds, while keeping the same maximum speed. Both variations consist of an 8-velocity computerized gearbox and all-wheel force for clean overall performance. The Modena is upping its game with a limited-slip differential and adjustable suspension to boost how you feel when you’re behind the wheel.
The top-of-the-line Maserati Grecale Trofeo model comes with a robust 530 HP, 3.0-liter V6 turbo-petrol engine. This powerful engine enables the Trofeo to accelerate from 0-100 km/hr in a mere 3.8 seconds and achieve a maximum speed of 285 km/hr. Additionally, it features an electronic limited-slip differential as part of its standard package.
Maserati Grecale Features
Maserati has added some cool features to the base Grecale. You’ll notice 19-inch wheels, LED headlights, chrome accents on the grille, twin dual-exhaust tips, and a choice of metallic paint colors on the outside. Inside, this version boasts 10-way power front seats with a memory feature, dual 12-inch screens for the instrument cluster and touchscreen infotainment, an optional HUD, an 8-inch touch-enabled panel for the dual-zone climate control, a top-notch 14-speaker sound system, and sleek aluminum paddle shifters. Rest assured, Level 1 ADAS has got your back when it comes to safety.

The Modena offers some awesome features like 20-inch wheels, black accents instead of chrome, leather seats, sport seats that adjust in 14 ways and can heat up, plus a three-zone climate control system. If you choose the Trofeo version, you’ll enjoy added benefits such as 21-inch wheels, striking red details on the brake calipers, more sporty front and rear bumpers, side skirts, and carbon-fiber elements both inside and outside the vehicle.
Maserati plans to grow its presence in India by adding new dealerships in Delhi and Bengaluru. At the moment, Maserati has just one showroom located in Mumbai. Maserati is preparing to introduce the electric Grecale Folgore to the Indian market; however, the exact launch date has not been disclosed. With plans to return to Delhi and Bengaluru and introduce new car models, Maserati hopes to increase its sales and presence in India
