The outside of the Meridian has a few small but noticeable changes. For example, the classic seven-slat grille now has chrome studs on its honeycomb mesh. Also, the SUV comes with new 18-inch alloy wheels in various designs, depending on the model you choose.

Even though the cabin’s design remains the same, there are some cool updates inside. Plus, the chrome strip that used to line the dashboard has been swapped out for a stylish copper one. This feature is found in the high-end Overland version and offers a range of capabilities. One fantastic feature of this SUV is its dual-zone climate control system. It operates to ensure that you and your companions feel comfortable and snug. You’ll also enjoy the panoramic sunroof that lets in plenty of natural light. Thanks to the front and rear sensors, along with a 360-degree camera, locating a parking spot is now a breeze.

Safety comes first, with features like electronic stability control, six airbags, ABS with EBD, and a tire pressure monitoring system. Plus, there’s a range of connected car technologies, including Alexa Home connectivity. It’s worth noting that the specific features available can vary depending on the trim level you choose.

Jeep Meridian Facelift Powertrain

Regarding the powertrain, the SUV still uses the 2.0-liter, four-cylinder MultiJet diesel engine producing 168 horsepower and 350 Nm of torque. The Limited (O) and Overland models offer a 4×4 option. Latitude and Latitude Plus are 4×2 only,  and all versions come with either a six-speed manual or a nine-speed torque converter automatic transmission, except for the Overland, which is exclusively automatic.
